Do I Need the Flu Vaccine?

Fact #1 -

The Centers for Disease Control says that the flu vaccine administered this year (2003-2004) to millions of Americans had "no or low effectiveness in treating influenza." CDC.gov 1/16/2004

Fact #2 -

The Flu Vaccine solution contains...

Mercury - the third most toxic substance on earth, according to Centers for Disease Control Agency for Toxic Substances and Disease. 

Formaldehye - the ATSDR also says that formaldehyde can cause irritation of the skin, eyes, nose, and throat. High levels of exposure may cause some types of cancers.

Aluminum - according to the ATSDR, some studies show that people with Alzheimer's disease have more aluminum than usual in their brains. Infants and adults who received large doses of aluminum as a treatment for another problem developed bone diseases, which suggests that aluminum may cause skeletal problems. Some sensitive people develop skin rashes from using aluminum chlorohydrate deodorants.

Fact #3 -

Out of the hundreds of flu strains that exist on earth, only three or four flu strains are allowed in the vaccine. In essence, scientists at the CDC must guess ahead of time which strains are going to strike in any given year. As history attests, including last year, they may not guess accurately.

Based on these three facts, do you feel that you need the flu shot?
