HOW TO EAT HEALTHY
WHILE DINING OUT

ACTION PLAN

This should quench the thirst of all of you who have been clamoring for this! We thought it would be best to cover Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner for Fast Food and Sit Down Restaurants. We chose the restaurants randomly, keeping in mind those that have broad appeal. We could not evaluate every major national restaurant chain. Our aim is to give you examples that will train you to have a keen eye for what is healthy and what is not.

Eating at restaurants can be like navigating a minefield. Especially, for those who have a limited food repertoire. Luckily, many restaurants are making it easier on us by being more flexible with making things to order, as well as catering to individuals with one or multiple dietary exclusions.

You must speak up to get what you want! This is your health and you are paying good money to eat at a restaurant. Of course, being polite and courteous will make the server all the more willing to bend over backwards for your request. Many restaurateurs know that if they are responsive to a diner’s individual needs, the diner will be more likely to return and spread the word to others.
