Insider Changed to Well Connect

The name of our paid subscription eNewsletter has changed from NCI Insider to NCI Well Connect. We made the change because we did not want to portray one client as an Insider and another client not just because of a subscription. We consider all of you Insiders.

We also feel that NCI Well Connect better describes what our subscription eNewsletter embodies. While it may not be feasible to see Bonnie on a weekly basis, NCI Well Connect is a tool for clients to stay connected to real-time advances in nutrition, and with a weekly nudge from us, stick to a consistent path to optimal wellness.

Get NCI Well Connect Today. A one year subscription includes 42 weekly eNewsletters. If you order today, we will email you the first NCI Well Connect issue of 2011!

**Another perk to subscribing to NCI Well Connect: access to our entire library of Action Plans. This adds tremendous value to the subscription and further complements your path to optimal wellness. Please click here for a list of available Action Plans.

Food Allergy/Intolerance Update.
allergy2While incredibly conservative and contains gaping holes, the Journal of Allergy and Clinical Immunology's new guidelines suggesting that pediatricians and internists be thorough in accounting for food allergies and intolerances is a step in the right direction. New Dietary Supplement App
Believe it or not, the U.S. Government's Office of Dietary Supplements created a very helpful app, My Dietary Supplements (MyDS) can be downloaded from iTunes onto any mobile or tablet device that supports apps.

MyDS can be very helpful for those who have a difficult time keeping track of how much and when to take our dietary supplements. In addition, you can email your supplement list to any health care provider so that potential contraindications with medications can be evaluated.

Most importantly, this app confirms that the government knows how important dietary supplements are to us, and is looking to help us create better communication between health professionals, as well as helping us to adhere to a consistent dosing schedule.
