Question #1:

I was wondering what the difference between a colonic flush and colonics are,
what any benefits are, where someone could get one, and if they are expensive or not.?

Answer #1:

Colonics get much higher into the colon (transverse colon) than a
regular colon flush. Two colonics (2 weeks apart) can be helpful for
removing "sludge that won't budge." It, thus, can make digestion easier
in the short-term. The danger of long-term colonics is that they become
addictive, prevent normal elimination, and can destroy nutrients and
healthy flora. They are not very expensive, but I do not have the names
of any now because the two moved out-of-state. Maybe your friend can
recommend the one he used. Locally, Conscious Choice Magazine may be a
good source for colonic professionals.

Question #2:

I am a vegan who does not eat soy. I eat fruits, veggies, legumes, nuts and seeds only.
My question is, if blood type Os cannot use plant protein, wouldn't we show signs of protein deficiency? So I am interested to know if I should add animal protein to my diet.
Are there long-term ramifications to my health?

Answer #2:

I would love to see your most recent blood test - deficiency symptoms
will definitely be noted there. Most likely, you will get worse. I have
seen it time and time again with O's. Many people can maintain their
health with this plan for 5-6 years if they were previously healthy.
Questions I would ask is: how is your muscle tone? How is your nail/hair
strength? How often do you get sick?

Have a happy, healthy day.
