Question #1:
Wondering if you have had any experience with lichen planus? I am thinking food sensitivity testing would be useful.
Answer #1:
Lichen planus
is an autoimmune reaction. The medical treatment is corticosteroids, which
suppresses the immune response, which can be a gluten/foods/drug intolerance.
Drugs known to cause this are beta blockers, NSAIDs (including aspirin),
ACE-inhibitors, sulfonylureas, gold, antimalarial agents, penicillins, or
thiazides (diuretics).
If the individual is on any of these, their doctor should stop them immediately.
If the individual is not on these, the Promethius Celiac Test and/or the
Biotrition Food Intolerance Test should look into the food intolerance issue.
Have a happy, healthy day.
