Question #1:
Can allergies mimic reflux??
Answer #1:
Most people do not have allergies - it is intolerances (inability to digest the food).
Yes, intolerances contribute to reflux. When your body is constantly inflamed
trying to fight incompatible foods, excess acid is created, thus leading to reflux.
Why is it that reflux is now the new catchword and children's reflux has
increased by over 60% in the last five years? It is because Zantac-type
drugs and proton-pump inhibitors treat the symptoms short-term and
doctors are now prescribing them like candy. The underlying problem,
however, becomes worse. Then, nutrient deficiencies of iron, zinc,
B-vitamins, calcium, and magnesium also cause physical, mental, and
emotional problems who take these drugs long-term. It is easy to remove
reflux in infants and young children by avoiding the source(s) of the
problem.
Question #2:
I've heard that how long you live can depend on your blood type?
Answer #2:
Blood Type O's have very hearty DNA and great longevity in the US (about 86
years average). They do not tolerate grains (especially those containing
gluten) and cow's milk products.
Blood Type A's have weak DNA without active prevention techniques. Average
longevity is only about 62 years. Due to weak stomach acid, they do not
handle heavy meats well 9such as steak), US whole wheat, and always
become lactose intolerant at an early age (9-12 years old).
Blood Type B's have an average longevity of 79 years. There's one food they
do not have an enzyme to digest and that is CORN! Living in the US is
very tough because corn derivatives are in everything.
First generation Blood Type AB's may have the problems of both blood types.
But if at least one parent was an AB, they usually tolerate most real
foods well and have and average longevity of 69 years.
Have a happy, healthy day.
