Mega mRNA Vaccine Guidance Change

From eNewsletter 3/2/2022

DID YOU KNOW that the 38th annual report from the American Association of Poison Control Centers showed zero deaths from vitamins? 86% of American adults take vitamins daily. If each of adult took only one single pill/dose daily, that still makes close to 170,000,000 individual doses per day, for a total of well over 60 billion doses annually. Since many of us take far more than just one single vitamin dose, actual consumption is considerably higher, and the safety of vitamin supplements is all the more remarkable.

COVID-19 Vaccine Information We updated this document Monday, February 22nd.

Virus Prevention And Treatment Vaccines minimize COVID-19 related mortality and hospitalizations, but SARS-CoV-2 is here to stay. Moreover, it is not the only virus we fight. There are influenza (flu), norovirus (stomach flu), adenovirus (common cold), and four other coronaviruses (common cold), among others. Continue your immune support year-round. For more information, refer to our Prevent and Fight Viruses 2.0 Protocol.

COVID-19 Condition Monograph For those interested in conventional and integrative treatments for COVID-19 with over 250 references, this is our COVID-19 Condition Monograph.

Post-COVID Syndrome 2.0 The official diagnosis for post-COVID syndrome (PCS) are symptoms that last for 12 weeks or more. If you, a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor is suffering from PCS, diligently following our Post-COVID Syndrome 2.0 Action Plan for purchase, or free to paid members here (must use the password), can bring measurable improvement.

Public Health Update

Steve: There is much more going on in the world of public health than just COVID-19. That said, there was an extremely important guidance released by the CDC last week. The CDC now recommends eight weeks between the initial two mRNA vaccine doses for those over the age of 12, particularly young men. The three week (Pfizer) and four week (Moderna) intervals stand for those who are immunocompromised or over 65 years old. This is a tremendous development towards safety, better immunity, and something we've been asking for a year and a half! Public Health's Failings If you wonder why public health and its leaders are not getting the job done, look no further than recently retired NIH director Dr. Francis Collins. In his "victory lap" interview with NPR, when asked about how he feels about the fact that Americans have fared worse, and are sicker than any first world country during his tenure, his response was astounding. "We don't have a very healthy lifestyle in our nation. Particularly with obesity and diabetes, those risk factors have been getting worse instead of better. We haven't, apparently, come up with strategies to turn that around." That's an understatement. Anabolic Steroids For anyone with loved ones who are young adults, please warn them about anabolic steroids. In a study from Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism, in which researchers followed male anabolic steroid users for decades after they stopped using, there was long-lasting impaired testicular capacity, and all the deleterious effects that comes with it. Aspirin Aspirin use was associated with a 26 percent risk of heart failure in people who have at least one predisposing factor or condition, according to a study from the European Society of Cardiology. Predisposing factors that were taken into consideration included high blood pressure, smoking, diabetes, obesity, high cholesterol and cardiovascular disease. Autism Researchers at the CDC found that among 8-year-olds in the US, 1 in 44 had been diagnosed with autism. That rate compares with 1 in 54 identified with autism in 2016. While this partially is due to earlier diagnosis, these numbers are beyond shocking. There are myriad causes that lead to autism, but one study from The Journal of Nutrition found that poor diet quality is one constant that can be easily fixed! Bisphenol A The Endocrine Society is now among several organizations and individuals petitioning the FDA to remove its approvals of bisphenol A (BPA), citing evidence that exposure to it is unsafe. The chemical is used to make plastics in items such as food containers, pitchers, and inner linings of metal products. Small amounts of BPA can leak into food and beverages. The society said there is a health concern from BPA exposure for all age groups. Specific concerns include harm to the immune system and male and female reproductive systems. It only took them 20 years to acknowledge this! Dairy Products In a study from Movement Disorders, researchers investigating men with genetic mutations of the lactose gene who continued to consume milk and dairy products, found there was a 40% increased risk for Parkinson's disease. The gene used in this study is part of our Pure Genomics wellness screening. Seafood Seafood consumption and mercury exposure from consumption at normal levels were not associated with the risk of all-cause or CVD-related mortality in a large cohort of Americans. Findings from JAMA Network Open should encourage future public health guidelines to recommend seafood consumption for cardiovascular prevention.
