DID YOU KNOW that in findings that may ring true to parents, a new government survey shows that a paltry 2% of U.S. high school students are eating enough vegetables? The study is the latest look at teenagers' eating habits by Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Of more than 13,000 high school students surveyed in 2017, only 2% were getting the minimum recommended allotment of veggies: 2.5 to 3 cups per day. Discouraging to say the least.
Post-COVID Syndrome We are postponing our study for those with lingering effects of COVID for lack of participants. It is actually good news that so few of us, and those we are associated with, are not burdened by post-COVID syndrome (PCS). That said, we felt it necessary to share with the public what we know about PCS. There is so little credible, actionable information for PCS sufferers. We were able to dovetail our knowledge from dealing with like-disorders, as well as incorporate information unique to this disease. If you suspect that you have PCS, our Post-COVID Syndrome Action Plan includes a symptom questionnaire. Post-COVID Syndrome Action Plan The official diagnosis for PCS are symptoms that last for 12 weeks or more. The experience of these “long-haul” COVID-19 patients is similar to other post-viral metabolic dysfunction disorders. The main difference is the devastating effect on mitochondria (energy producer of the cell). There are four main organ systems most affected and need to be rehabilitated in those with PCS: gastrointestinal, hepatic (liver), mitochondrial, and immunological. Our 11 page action plan includes:
Post-COVID Syndrome questionnaire;
PCS symptom checklist;
Experimental drug therapies;
Organ system restoration with diet, lifestyle, stress management, and targeted nutrient therapies
Breathing therapy protocols
We still recommend working with us or your licensed health professional to further individualize this plan, but if you, a family member, friend, coworker, or neighbor is suffering from PCS, share this information with them. 3 Ways to Get the Post-COVID Syndrome Action Plan

VITAMIN D SUPPLEMENTS SAVES LIVES
Steve and Bonnie: Scientists have now calculated the following in a study just published in Molecular Oncology: If all Germans over the age of 50 were to take vitamin D supplements, up to 30,000 cancer deaths per year could possibly be avoided and more than 300,000 years of life could be gained - in addition, 254 million euros per year in health care costs could be saved.
This is just in Germany. Imagine what the saving of life and money would be in the United States.
Research has come to the conclusion that vitamin D supplementation was associated with a reduction in the mortality rate from all cancers of around 13 percent.
Given the often considerable costs of many new cancer drugs, success from cancer declines in some countries has often come at a high price. Vitamin D, on the other hand, is comparatively inexpensive in the usual daily doses.
In some countries, such as Finland, who's population has supplemented with vitamin D for many years, have cancer mortality rates 20 percent lower than in Germany. Of course, there is evidence of myriad other positive health effects of vitamin D supplementation, including lower COVID-19 mortality.
If vitamin D was a novel pharmaceutical, it would be hailed as a miracle drug. But vitamin D cannot be patented, so it often ignored by much of the world.
