DID YOU KNOW that a study from Frontiers in Nutrition found that higher serum ascorbic acid levels are associated with a reduced prevalence of depression?
For those who do not know, ascorbic acid is vitamin C.
Another study from BMC Public Health found that vitamin C is effective in reducing the severity and duration of the common cold. Subjects in good health using at least 1000 mg daily resulted in a 15-26% reduction in severity of symptoms.
