DID YOU KNOW that there was good and bad news about coffee and weight in a new study from The American Journal of Clinical Nutrition?
The good news is that each 1 cup per day increment in unsweetened caffeinated or decaffeinated coffee (max 4 cups) was associated with a reduction in weight gain over four years.
The bad news is that adding as little as one teaspoon of sugar to your total coffee intake was associated with weight gain over a four year span.
Yet another reminder that we prefer you drink your coffee black. Moreover, using artificial sweeteners is just as bad as sugar.
