DID YOU KNOW that there are many reasons why we always want your vitamin D3 levels to be between 50 nmol/L and 80 nmol/L?
In a study from The Journal of Nutrition, researchers explored the relationship between vitamin D3 levels and markers of inflammation and immune activation.
When below 50, subjects showed higher inflammation, thus establishing 50 as a minimum target for dampening inflammation. The researchers found 70 as an optimal concentration for regulating optimal immunity.
Study after study have shown that 50 or above, not 30 like your physicians suggest, is where you need to be.
