Omega's Link to Alzheimer's

DID YOU KNOW that a study from Alzheimer's & Dementia found that women with Alzheimer's disease had lower levels of omega-3 fatty acids compared with controls?


The authors pointed out that these low levels of omega-3 fatty acids were independent of elevated cholesterol, low-density lipoprotein (LDL), or apolipoprotein B.


"Our study suggests that women should make sure they are getting omega-3 fatty acids in their diet through fatty fish or via supplements," the lead author purported.
