Steve Minsky's COVID-19 Opus
From eNewsletter 8/19/2020
DID YOU KNOW that one of the best ways to reduce your pesticide load, especially the ubiquitous glyphosate (also known as Roundup), is to eat organic? A study just published in Environmental Research found that an organic diet was associated with significantly reduced urinary levels of glyphosate and its main metabolite, AMPA. The reduction in glyphosate and AMPA levels was rapid, dropping to baseline within three days. The study demonstrates that diet is a primary source of glyphosate exposure and that shifting to an organic diet is an effective way to reduce body burden of glyphosate. This research adds to a growing body of literature indicating that an organic diet may reduce exposure to a range of pesticides in children and adults! BACK IN STOCK... STEVE MINSKY'S COVID-19 OPUS
Bonnie: Many of you know of Steve Minsky, but do you really know Steve Minsky?
While he prefers to keep a low profile, his recent achievements deserve attention. Last week, Steve achieved step one on the path to getting a masters degree by receiving his Graduate Certification in Wellness Coaching from the American College of Healthcare Sciences (ACHS). Steve is officially a Health and Wellness Coach. It should be noted that Steve made the Dean's list each semester and was recognized by the Delta Epsilon Tau Honor Society for his 4.0 GPA. Steve's final project was a paper on COVID-19. The condition monograph, which covers the most effective conventional and integrative methods for preventing and treating COVID-19, includes 138 references and will be referenced during the college President's commencement speech as an example of what ACHS students are doing for the world. We challenge you to find a more complete chronicle of COVID-19 anywhere. Lucky for you, we are making Steve's monograph available right here and now! Please share it with family, friends, coworkers, and especially your health professionals, to use as a preventive and treatment guide for COVID-19. The impetus for Steve's paper was to parse and organize all public domain data into a transparent, understandable, and implementable document. Along with sharing sound conventional treatment, he answered skepticism towards integrative prevention and treatment methods for COVID-19 with copious references. Steve will continually update the monograph as COVID-19 research evolves.
