DID YOU KNOW that 16,000 healthy older adults with the average age of 79 who received aspirin experienced no significant long-term benefits against major adverse cardiovascular events?
In fact, the European Heart Journal study found the use of aspirin was linked to an 18% higher rate of major adverse cardiovascular events, a 25% higher rate of myocardial infarction, a 24% higher rate of major hemorrhage, and higher rates of upper gastrointestinal bleeding and bleeding compared to those taking the placebo.
