DID YOU KNOW that the multipurpose polyphenol quercetin has been appearing frequently in science journals?
A study from Phytotherapy Research explained the molecular and cellular mechanisms by which quercetin modulates aging processes and age-related pathologies. Another study from European Review for Medical & Pharmacological Sciences found that daily intake of as little as 110 mg of quercetin for 40 weeks improved reaction time and preserved brain blood flow in older adults, adding to the evidence that quercetin may help support healthy cognitive aging.
According to a study from Frontiers in Nutrition, quercetin administration significantly restored myocardial autophagy levels, thus attenuating heart failure, which improved cardiac function and survival rates.
