DID YOU KNOW that researchers publishing in Nature have discovered a mechanism behind the yo-yo weight effect: fat cells have a memory that is based on epigenetics?

As you've read here many times, epigenetics tells a cell what kind of cell it is and what it should do. Meaning the expression of our cells are dependent upon the choices we make diet and lifestyle-wise, as well as the environment we live in.

In the case of fat cells, they remember if you were in an overweight state and can return to this state more easily when they are receiving negative epigenetic messages.

What is the answer according to the authors? Practice prevention in as many facets of life as you can!
