Blood Type, Genetics Repel COVID-19 | Last Day of Sale

From eNewsletter 5/31/2021

DID YOU KNOW that in a four week span, three compelling studies about intermittent fasting were published? A study from Appetite examined a sample population's desire to reduce their window of eating from 10-14 hours to 7-11 hours. Time-restricted feeding, which is a type of intermittent fasting, is the practice of restricting the time between the first and last food intake each day, therefore prolonging the daily fasting period. The sampled population were more likely to adhere to the changes if it was explained how it could be beneficial to their health. Here's two examples! A study in Nature states that intermittent fasting enhances long-term memory consolidation, adult brain cognition, and expression of the longevity gene Klotho. A study in Circulation Research found that intermittent fasting can reduce hypertension by reshaping the gut microbiota. As we have stated in past issues, intermittent fasting is not for everyone (i.e. those with blood sugar disorders) and any dietary changes should always be discussed with a licensed health professional.

UPDATE - COVID-19 Vaccine Information We updated this document Monday May 31st.

Virus Prevention And Treatment Vaccines will minimize COVID-19 related mortality and hospitalizations, but SARS-CoV-2 is not going away, as evidenced by its ever-mutating variants. Moreover, SARS-CoV-2 is not the only virus we fight. There are influenza (flu), norovirus (stomach flu), adenovirus (common cold), and four other coronaviruses (common cold), among others. We highly recommend continuing your immune support. For more information, refer to our Prevent and Fight Viruses 2.0 Protocol.

BLOOD TYPE, GENETICS, AND COVID-19 SEVERITY

Steve and Bonnie: As more research reveals the underpinnings of the pandemic and what could have prevented it, two new studies show how the analysis and recommendations we generate for you are absolutely critical for avoiding and/or overcoming COVID-19.

Blood Type

New clients may wonder why we ask for blood type. There are myriad reasons, but with regard to COVID-19, a new study from Biorxiv has demonstrated that blood type deems how well you build up humoral and cellular immunity to SARS-CoV-2, the virus that causes COVID-19. Researchers found blood type A subjects needed much longer to clear the virus and they lost cellular immune responses over time, compared to blood type O individuals, who showed a persistent specific immune response against SARS-CoV-2. Blood types B and AB fell somewhere in between.

How is this relevant to you? We make certain diet and lifestyle recommendations based upon your blood type. When you are heeding this advice, you are optimizing your blood type's response to your environment. Hence, someone like yourself who is in harmony with your blood type will have a much better chance of fighting off COVID-19 infection than someone who is fighting their blood type's needs.

Genetics

The same kind of harmony is needed for epigenetic function, whose messaging tells your genes to function positively or negatively. A study in The Lancet: EBioMedicine is the first to report an epigenome-wide association with COVID-19 severity.

Many of you who have done our Pure Genomics screening will remember us discussing the importance of optimal "methylation". The study authors discovered that dysfunctional methylation, which is derived from negative epigenetic expression of methylation genes (many having to do with B-vitamins), causes more severe cases of COVID-19.

How is this relevant to you? If you have done our Pure Genomics screening, we have addressed potential methylation dysfunction with diet, lifestyle, and supplementation. When you are heeding this advice, you are optimizing the epigenetic response to your environment. Hence, you are in harmony with your genes and will have a much better chance of fighting off COVID-19 infection than someone who is unaware of their genetics or not following our advice.

These two studies did not make headlines, but they are titanic discoveries for us, and in turn, for you. It reaffirms two ways we have assisted you in getting through the pandemic.

THE PATH TO HEALTHY, AGELESS SKIN Skin provides important functions, including prevention of water loss and acting as a barrier against harmful substances. Unfortunately, more than 100 million people, one-third of the US population, have at least one skin disease.
